Looking to buy a set if 3 Deco BE65s and i'm unclear as to whether they have to go via ethernet connection to an existing router as i'd like to completely get rid of my ISP provided router and connect the BE65 main to the ONT

Yes i have an ethernet port on my ONT and i have seen my ISP (KCOM based in the UK) gives out the details when requested. Was literally for clarification on whether it can be connected directly to an ONT as its not clearly stated anywhere. Thanks for the reply.

guess you have an Ethernet port on the ont?
Then it depends if you know the details to connect to your provider.
in NL they have to publish that info and in general it should be possible if they use normal dhcp, ppoe, that kind of stuff. My X10 even plays nice with VLan and IPV6 prefix delegation.

Hi, Deco BE65 could connect to the ONT directly to replace the existing Wi-Fi router. Best regards.
