PPPoE Deco X20 Issue
Hi TP-Link,
I was trying to reconfigure my home network and use existing modem to bridge mode and setup my PPPoE connection with X20 Deco and have got stuck at one step.
My ISP asked me to leave the Access Comcentrator Name field blank, but Deco software is making this field as Required and hence doesn't work at all.
I tried several methods like giving a blank space or PPPoE, however this did not allow the connection to be established.
Looks like the Deco software should allow for this field to be Optional instead of Required.
Requesting for a solution here
Thanks

Hi, welcome to our community.
As your screenshot show, if your ISP did not provide anything about Access Concentrator Name, could you try to disable "Advanced" and ignore this totally?

Hello @Marvin_S ,
The Service Name is mandatory hence I'm compelled to use the advanced settings. However as mentioned above Access Concentrator Name has to be left blank.
These are the instructions/configuration specs from my ISP and it his how the modem from ISP is also working with PPoE settings on it.
please advice if there are other ways to achieve this?
thanks.

Hi, thanks for your further explanation.
Could you please try to turn off Advanced on PPPoE Service page of Deco app and finish the setup process? Then you may check whether internet works or not.

Hi, I have indeed tried all permutations and combinations and have reached out hear as the PPPoE link is not establishing.
The modem that my ISP provided allows for a blank and hence seems to work seamlessly.
Looks like the Deco software needs an update.
