I have some led strips from govee that i can control with my google home app and the google nest, but i also want a button that can turn them all on and off at the same time. So i'd like to know if the S200D can be used in google automations to do that or that i need a hub from tapo.

Tapo smart buttons S200B and S200B are not supported in Google automation so far.

Most Tapo devices like smart bulbs and smart plugs support Google Home and can be used as a starter in Google automation.
