Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.1.6 Build 20240313 Rel. 43415

Hello

I getting only max 60Mb download speed.

Device controller are Omada OC200 via POE switch TL-SG1016PE.

I have broadband connection speed of 1Gb. I already tried changing the channel and channel width but I getting even slower speed.

Actual settings for EAP225

Wireless mode:

Auto

Channel width:

20MHz

Channel:

9

Tx Power:

High (20dBm)

On this settings I'm getting the highest speed max 60Mb other settings combinations giving me even lower than that. Distance from device 3 meters.

All devices are running on latest firmware.

Please help.

60Mbps is probably what you can expect on 2.4 Ghz with this access point. wifi4 is old and outdated. try and use 5Ghz or upgrade to wifi6, with wifi6 on 2.4ghz and 40mhz bandwidth my access point can handle about 400Mbps

  @BOBYman

I did a test here with an EAP225 5.1.7 Build 20240819 Rel. 44148, everything is auto except Channel Width, here is the result.
it was better than I thought.

channel is 11 Auto

20 Mhz

40 Mhz

how is your channel utilization?
