Wifi Mesh mode with Tp-link Archer VR1210
Hi everyone
I ask you for advice.
I have two identical Tp-link Archer VR1210 V1 modem routers (same model, same version, V1). The first (modem 1) manages a Fiber FTTH with a local proprietary provider who configured it for me with user psw and VCI value.
Now I have this problem and I would like to understand if it is possible to do this.
The fiber reaches me on the ground floor of my home on the first modem router (modem 1) connected to the WAN with the ONT.
I would like to bring the network to modem 2 on the first floor via a LAN cable, exiting with a network cable from a LAN of modem 1.
I want to know if with these modem routers, by configuring modem 2 in Bridge mode, I can manage a single WIFI network with the same SSID (MESH mode)or do I necessarily have to create two distinct WiFi networks, one for the ground floor (modem 1) and one for the first floor (modem 2).
Thanks for anyone who can help me
Nicola
