Region : Malaysia

Model : TD-W8980

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : 0.6.0 0.6 v000e.0 Build 130304 Rel.38108n

ISP : TM NET / Streamyx

I am connected to the internet using the above modem/router. When my iMac (running the latest version of Mountain Lion) wakes up from sleep, the connection is lost and I have to restart my computer before I regain connection. Just switched from a Linksys modem and this has never happened before. Help!

Hi.
What is the OS version of your IMAC? Is the IMAC connected to the 2.4GHz network? Or the 5GHz network?

If searching online, you can find out many threads about Apple Wake up issue.
See what I have found here:
1. IMac Wi-Fi Update v1.0:
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1501 ( This update resolves an issue that may cause an iMac to not automatically connect to a known Wi-Fi network after waking from sleep.)
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1620

2. AirPort + Wi-Fi Support:
