Phone won't connect to main Deco, others work fine
So recently my phone (Samsung Galaxy S21, Android 14) won't connect to my main Deco unless I enable MAC address randomization. I don't want to have it enabled, because then DHCP doesn't assign the same ip every time as it thinks it's a different device.
If I'm closer to another Deco it works fine, but on the main Deco it says the password is wrong with the exact same configuration.
Any idea what could be causing this?

@McFox Why do you want DHCP to assign you the same IP every time?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
Here are some suggestions for your reference:
1. Change wireless password of your Deco network for a try.
2. Configure Address Reservation on a Deco.
3. Try beta firmware in this thread.

My phone needs to have the same IP every time because I use it for app development, so if the ip changes every time I need to look it up and pair the phone to the debug environment each time. Also of course parental features don't work if devices aren't detected as the same (though at this point my phone is the only device with the problem, and obviously I don't need to limit my own connection). Of course I could set the address statically on the phone instead, but I prefer to have DHCP assign all the addresses so they don't clash if I forget which addresses are taken.
Also no matter what the reasons or whatever, there is clearly a bug somewhere in the Deco firmware.

Thanks for the suggestions.
- I'll try changing the password - I don't know why I didn't think of that before. Probably even changing to the exact same password again should do the trick, otherwise I'll change it to something else and then back to the old one (I don't want to reconfigure all my family's devices).
- I already have address reservation configured for the phone, maybe I should try removing it to see if the phone will connect and then re-add it if it does.
- I don't want to mess around with beta-firmwares at this point. I work from home, so my connection has to be rock solid, and AFAIK it doesn't sound like the beta is quite there yet. Though I have been looking forward to the new features for a long time.
