Support MLO, Guest SSID or 802.11r for Easymesh in 2025

Is there any plan to support MLO, Guest SSID or 802.11r for Easymesh in 2025?
I have BE800 and BE550. However, MLO and Guest features will be disabled on either router as a satellite. What a waste!

Hi @JFDSD,
Currently, MLO/IoT/Guest Wi-Fi can't be extended in an EasyMesh network.
However, we plan to enable satellite router to extend MLO/guest/IoT network in subsequent firmware updates. Please stay tuned to the official website for more updates.
Thank you.

Do you have any information about when these features will be implemented? A lot of ppl requested them since the beginning of 2024.
Also, there are some problems with Smart connect feature in Mesh mode. A TV positioned at 3m from the satellite router (not the main) connects with it only on 2,4G.

@Joseph-TP Will this also include extenders like RE705X? I need to know if I must return it since in its actual condition, it does not fit my requirements.
Thank you.

@Joseph-TP in december, you said that firmware updates should bring Guest, IoT and MLO to the devices. Also, the concept of guest network seem to have been added to EasyMesh R2 which is also supposed to be available for satellites. I understand that as of now, the RE705X does not support this but are there physical reasons that would make it impossible to add the feature in a future firmware update?
Also, moving to Deco means starting new again. My router is a BE9300 I bought less than a year ago. I won't trash it and start back with Deco, this wouldn't make sense.

Hi@BkQc,
Thank you for your reply.
I need to correct my previous reply.
It has been confirmed that RE705X v2 supports guest network expansion. However, the main router must also support guest network expansion.
The router that currently supports guest network expansion is Archer AX55 V1. Please refer to: Archer AX55 V1 Supports Extending Guest Network via EasyMesh and Optimizing Performance in AP Mode
For Archer BE550/BE9300 to expand other non-main networks, it has been included in the high priority plan. Please look forward to the future firmware update of Archer BE550!
Thank you again for your consultation and understanding~!
