Model: Deco BE95
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.20 Build 20240601 Rel.74164

I'm really frustrated. The 2.4G network on the BE95 is a disaster. I set up an IoT network that only uses 2.4G, but when my devices try to connect, I have to repeatedly enter the password. Even if they manage to connect, pinging the router is almost impossible. After using a WiFi analysis tool, I found that the 2.4G network is using 40MHz bandwidth, and I suspect this might be the reason for the connection issues. Additionally, I noticed some hidden networks from the other TP-Link be95 devices. I just can't understand why such a high-end router has such an unstable 2.4G network. I have six BE95 units at home.

Hi, welcome to the community.

May I know how many smart home devices you have connected to Deco? Can I have the model numbers?

There is a beta firmware that has improved the 2.4GHz performance. You could refer to the private message if you want to test this version.

Thank you very much and best regards.
