Model : TD-W8961ND

Hardware Version : V3

Firmware Version : 3.0

ISP : ADSL

By this TD8961ND exactly to block facebook.com and others social networks, but no block URL started with HTTPS.

Talking to suport in Brasil, he is coments to new firmware in soon to fixed this problem.

But, for moment, what i do contorned this problem ?

My office needed this blocked.

since you can't block https website in url,you can try use IP or MAC to block such website or some other possible solutions...

The guys everthing change de IP adress in desktop, change to automaticaly....

For MAC im trying... the MAC is the physical adress to web adapter ?? all desktop has be one ??

right,every desktop has one or two MAC address, wired adapter has one MAC address and wireless adapter also has one

Maybe you can block the IP address of facebook, rather than the URL. As facebook use https, the url is encrypted, the router is not able to detect the url. If you block the IP address of facebook, it may be able to be usefull. Hope it is helpful to you.

How to find facebook IP ??

I read and see many ips to facebook.

Notice: MAC filter can set as white lists or black lists. If you set as white list, only the mac address you set can access to your Internet; If you set as black list, only the mac address you set can't access to your Internet
