Deco X50 - High CPU Usage
Hi,
I have observed consistently high CPU usage, frequently reaching 100%. This significantly impacts my network performance, causing slow speeds and unstable connections.
I would appreciate technical support to identify the root cause of this problem and find a solution.
I have already tried basic troubleshooting steps, such as rebooting the system and checking for firmware updates, but the issue persists.
Please find some additional information that may be helpful:
- Deco Model: X50 (both devices)
- Firmware Version: 1.6.1 Build 20241010 Rel. 65389

Would the CPU load stay on 100% for a long time?

It has been occurring since the previous firmware and continues in the current one.
-Have you noticed any Deco turn red?
No.
-How many online clients are connected to the Deco X50? Would there be some smart home devices
20 Clients. ( 13 in the main and 7 in the satellite )
I have a robot vacuum cleaner, smart switch, lamp, TVs, air conditioning, pool heater.
By the way, is the satellite Deco X50 wirelessly connected to the main Deco X50
It is connected wirelessly

At the same time, could you please help me check the following details:
Have you tried to disable "Fast Roaming" and "Beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced?
By the way, when the clients slow down or get disconnected, would a restart of Deco temporarily restore the connection?
Did the disconnection and speed issue randomly occur to all the mobile clients or just several of them?
