Model: Archer T4U Plus
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello everyone!

I have an odd question - hoping someone will be able to help out..

I bought an AC1300/Archer T4U Plus to help with sh!tty reception in my home office - and it seems to have helped make my connection more stable and available, which I'm VERY happy with!

I'm running a Mac with Sequoia 15.1.1 and thought I should download the latest version of the Drivers - which happened to be a BETA version (Archer T4U Plus(EU US) v1.0_Mac 10.15_Beta).

This seems to install with no issues, until the validation step - where I get an error that 'The Installation Failed'.

This is odd, as I immediately get the 'Configure a connection' dialog - and then I'm able to go through the process of connecting to my network through the Antenna, and  everything seems to work fine from there..!

The installation appears to be fine - all I need to do to make this work after *every* reboot is to re-run the installation.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be happening here - any chance there might be a 'stable'/official release of this or someone could suggest how I sort this?

Cheers - and thanks in advance!

Hi, welcome to our community.

Here are some suggestions for your reference:

Step 1:  Make sure the operating system of your computer is compatible with the adapter by referring to whether my Network adapter is compatible with my computer.
Step 2:  Please try to install the driver and try to manually install the driver and check for any help with the problem.
Step 3:  Uninstall anti-virus software and disable the firewall, if any.
Step 4:  Install it on another computer for test if possible.

Thank you and best regards.
