Hi, it is a pity to hear that.

We have consulted the engineering team to take further analysis on your feedback, now it may be too late.

Anyway, sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Thank you and best regards.

  @Marvin_S

I have received an email from the support team with a link to a beta firmware. I applied the firmware on Saturday morning and comparing the fast.com speed test the results are much better.

Before beta firmware:

Download 24Mbps

Upload: 12Mbps

Latency unloaded: 7ms

Latency loaded: 385ms

After beta firmware:

Download 45Mbps

Upload: 24Mbps

Latency unloaded: 12ms

Latency loaded: 261ms

I have also noticed an improvement in the responsiveness of IOT devices using the 2.4GHz channel, I will continue to test and monitor the situation but so far the results have been much much better.

Hi,

I had a similar issue with my 3x XE75(V1), and the beta software that I used, changed all the 2.4GHz channels on the 3x XE75 satellites to use different 20MHz channels; instead of 40MHz, so they wouldn't interfere with each other.  Since then all my IOT devices have never dropped and latency is also much improved smiley

TP-Link now need to add the new features to all their software, so that everyone can enjoy the benefits?

Having the same issue with my XE75 network (not pro).

No option to change width of 2.4ghz connection. The drops are insane, my smart devices all complaining about lost internet.

40mhz has way too much interference in my home, and if it would simply allow us to force 20mhz this would fix the issue.

I saw some had a beta firmware emailed to them - would support be able to send me one for my model? (XE75). If this feature is not implemented I'm going to need to look at another solution. Right now 2.4ghz is not viable.

  @blitz2kX

Raise a fault ticket with TP-Link and ask for Beta software, which changes the individual 2.4GHz satellite channels/channel bandwidth?  So there is limited co-channel interference.
