I have an issue where my ER706W-4G router doesn't connect using a sim card which has a custom APN that should assign me a static IP address.

 

I have tried the sim in a mobile phone, and a separate route with the APN details and both connect as expected.

 

I have also tried a different sim in the router which uses the default APN and this connects as expected.

 

Can someone please help me with custom APNs

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

I don't have this model on my hands but generic settings should be manual.

Isn't this option available?

My router is managed by a controller but the main settings are the same. Im wondering if there's a bug in the firmware that's stopping it.
