hi

I have tried so many things I forget what half of them were.

When I go to the webgui and change mode to access point, plugin an ethernet cable I can no longer access the webgui and the wifi connection says there is no internet.

Now I have tried resetting the extender and have entered the webgui and I'm kind of waiting for someone to get back to me here, since I cannot find a way to setup the extender with internet actually working.

Reset the RE to its factory defaults.

Here's the guide on how to configure RE in AP mode.

Here's the RE user guide - details in Chapter 6.

I would recommend when you have set up the RE in AP mode to switch its IP addres to a static IP (for example 192.168.0.254, if your main router is with LAN IP address 192.168.0.1).Then turn off its DHCP istead of using Auto.
