Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.14 Build 20241015 Rel. 45922

Deco XE5300  *** there is no option for this device in Model field.

I lose internet access for a few minutes once a day. I checked with my IP provider, and all is fine. I changed the cable, and Deco keeps on dropping. The system log is a mile long. Any ideas on what could be wrong?  Thank you!

  @CKMAN

Hi, Have you seen Deco turn red during the disconnection?

The log didn't record the Deco was offline and it was more like certain mobile devices were online and offline.

(if that were the case, can I have the model number of the devices? Are they mainly connected to the 2.4GHz?)

It also helps to check the IPV4 address under Deco APP>More>Internet to see whether the Internet went blank or turned to 0.0.0.0.

By the way, May I know who your internet service provider is?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @CKMAN

Thank you for your prompt response to my issue. I will monitor my network and include a log of the times when it was down.

The Wi-Fi dropping connection is sporadic. It works fine for several weeks, but then it starts dropping for unknown reasons. I checked with my internet provider, and they tested the signal, confirming that there are no issues with the connection to the modem. I even bought a new modem, thinking it might be the problem.

Answers to some of your questions:

Have you seen Deco turn red during the disconnection? Yes

Are they mainly connected to the 2.4GHz? – I think so, Isn’t this automatic?

My internet provider: COX

Model number: TO-Link Deco XE5300 ( all three units)

Ipv4 Connection:

Primary DNS      8.8.8.8.

Secondary DNS  1.1.1.1.
