Firmware Version: 0.13.0 2.00 v60.92.0 build 240925 Rel. 11089n


 

I have changed the primary and secondary DNS servers via the Tether app but it seems there are conflicting information within the web UI. The advanced page shows the correct DNS servers but the system log shows the default ISP servers.

Please advise if this is correct or not. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

Please do not worry. The system log may record the DNS information in the initial stage of WAN port connection, while the actual effective is the manual DNS in the advanced settings.  You may wait for some time or reboot the router then observe whether the log is updated or not.

I would like to add that the log shows a recv DNS server address log every 8 minutes. Is this normal activity?
