Model: Deco PX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3

PX50 in router mode...

Whenever we lose and then restore mains power, our master PX50 invariably stays in Red (offline) mode and does not reconnect to the fibre broadband and boot to Green. We have to power-cycle the master PX50 to get the system back up.

Why does this happen and can anything be done to get the master px50 to boot to green? Even if internet connectivity is down, 'surely' the px50 should boot up to a point where the WiFi etc. is running?

The current situation is inconvenient and annoying when we're at home - it's actually a major issue if we're away because the broadband will recover but with the Decos down, we don't have any control or access to our security and general IOT monitoring.

Hi, when Deco PX50 stays red, would a manual restart of Deco restore the connection?

-If yes, Deco PX50 supports a Reboot Schedule and you could set a reboot time to see whether it helped.

By the way, what is the internet connection type on the PX50, Dynamic IP or PPPoE?

If it is Dynamic IP, please also refer to this link to set the IPV4 DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4:

How to change DNS server settings on my Deco

Thank you very much and best regards.
