Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.6.5

Cannot reach my Phillips Hue bridge (LAN) via Deco Mesh (WIFI). WHile I can reach other LAN equipment via wifi.

 

Also when I connect my HUE bridge to the port n the main deco I cannot get access to the internet. While I can connect a pc to that port and connect to internet. Connecting my Hue bridge to the router of the ISP I can connect to the internet with my Hue Bridge.

 

So what is blocking this?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Did you set Deco M4 into Access Point mode?

- If not, it is recommended to set Deco into Access Point mode: How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

Have you ever configured static IP settings on the Hue Bridge?

 

It is also suggested to connect Hue Bridge to the network switch to see whether it made any difference.

thanks for the help.

 

yes the deco's are in ap mode.

 

yes connected the hue bridge also to lan switch, this does not make a difference.

 

did not try static ip address yes yet.

Disabled the deco's and turned on the wifi of my router again. Immediately connetion with my Hue bridge via wifi.
