8970 is a great adsl modem , but the lack of multiple SSID setting makes it stands behind other models like 8968 and other brands.
Please add Multi SSID and Guest Network to 8970 v1

The guest network feature is listed in the specification sheet for the TD 8970 - so how do you activate?

Its 8970 V3 that has Guest network , which is weaker than 8970v1 . it has only 1 USB port ,and 2 antennas
it seems they want to discontinue 8970 v1, we should report them to add at least guest network to V1

W8970 V3 with guest network feature has been released...Hard to say if TP-LINK will still release any newer firmware for V1...
