My Starlink is providing 250Mbps, and is configured for pass through to my Deco X20, which is hard wired. The deco is showing speeds of 2 to 16 kbps, a huge fall off. I have the deco configured as a router.
any help gratefully received.

Can I have the current firmware version of your Deco X20?
Which generation of your Starlink Satellite Dish？
Did you also test the Ethernet speed from the main Deco X20? Was it also capped at 2-16 kbps?
Have you tried to keep the Starlink router in standard router mode and set Deco X20 into "Access Point" mode to see whether it made any difference to the network speed?

@David-TP Thank you for. My Deco firmware version is 15.5, and the Starlink is Gen 2.
I haven't yet reverted the Starlink back to router but I can try that next depending on your reply.
Just to check- I'm taking the download speed from the Deco dashboard which gives a dynamic display of download and upload. I'm taking that displays speed rather than data amount?
My 250+ Mbps from Starlink comes from my connection to the mesh environment using Speedtest.
My issue is buffering of video streaming which I guess could be a mesh range issue as much as available speed?
