Hi I am from India and I have a BE25 (v1 - Firmware 1.0.11). I am facing issue and frequent connection dropouts when moving around the house.

I see that in the TPLink (india) - Download for Deco BE25 | TP-Link India the latest firmware is 1.0.8

 

but in TPLink (US) - Download for Deco BE25 | TP-Link the latest firmware is 1.0.13

 

My question is can is install the firmware from US website into my Deco which i bought in india?

Hi, welcome to our community.

Usually, it is suggested to update Deco via Deco app.

If it shows also shows US version on your device label, you may download corresponding firmware from related TP-Link official website.

Yes , In the device sticker (on the back) I see BE25(US) ver 1.0

So this means i can download the firmware from the tplink US website too even though i bought it from India ? Is it correct ?

Also followup question , does it void warranty ?

  @Kakarot92 Haan haan kar saktay ho Tension na lo mai nay bhi Pakistan say lia tha Deco M4 (US) version hai mai nay bhi Tplink US ki website say firmware update karlia hai sab OK hai

@Kakarot92 If your packaging/sticker under Deco says "US" within brackets, then yes, you can download the US firmware from the US website.

 

Make sure it's the correct Hardware version

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it
