I purchased my router on Monday and installed it yesterday with no problems and very quickly with the setup wizard. I was also able to connect my wireless printer via WPS and my smartphone without WPS.

However, I am confused about the wireless network names. I have read the manual, but nothing came to light. During the setup I gave them the same name.

1) Should I use different names for the 2.4 and 5 GHz options?

2) If so, which is best for the printer, smartphone and a Kindle (yet to be attached).

I am using the Ethernet connection for my PC.

wireless network names had better be different so that you can choose which to connect.
5GHz is much more faster than 2.4, if your device can detect the 5G signal, just choose that one. However, most wireless devices do not support 5G.

Thank you for your confirmation of what I thought was needed.
