To use services such as Home Assistant, OpenMediaVault, among others, we need a local DNS server with the LOCAL domain record to better find the devices within my local network.

The use of local DNS cache is also used to speed up network navigation.

The limit of 64 reserved IP addresses is not enough for those who have a network with several IoT devices.

How difficult is it to make a service like the Dnsmasq server and its configurations available to users who need it?

Some access to the contents and configuration of the hosts and resolv. files is required.
