I can't get Tether to connect to the router to input VPN data

Hi  @Zaesen,

May I know what is the model of your router? Please see How to find the model number of your TP-Link device? 

Do you want to set VPN on the router? Please refer to How to Establish a VPN Connection on TP-Link Wi-Fi Router

Hi,

 

Does Tether at least show your router in the "My Devices" list?

If it doesn't, then make sure your smartphone or tablet is indeed directly connected to the main network of your router. (i.e. not to the Guest network or another router you might have)
