Trying to run easy set up wizard for TD-W8961ND and each time I get network status check failed.

All lights are lit as they should be. and ping 192.168.1.1 comes back ok.
computer running on XP home with sp3
I am currently connected to the internet-plus net, using an old non wireless Sagem modem, so I know that there is nothing wrong with the broadband line.

All cables are plugged in securely.

Tried more than one reboot, but still no good.

Any ideas please
