ISP : Telmex Infinitum

I did a firmware update, as procedure on tp-link.com says. After a básic configuration (DSL to navigate Internet) it works ok. But, after configure LAN, WIFFI, TIME ZONE, and another configurations, the admins page http://192.168.1.1, no loads any more. Time out with any browser. ping to 192.168.1.1 works ok, browsing Internet OK, but no administration.

I did a second hard reset, a second flash firmware update, soft reset and the issue continues. Please help me to solve this situation ASAP.

Previus firmware: TD-W8961ND_V3_120524

New Firmware: TD-W8961ND_V3_140305 . http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/?model=TD-W8961ND&version=V3
(Your web page says: "As we have updated the security mechanism on this version of firmware, once you have upgraded to this firmware, you will not be able to downgrade to the old one")

Via wire cable update.

I think the same thing I'm faced after upgrading the firmware !!

hello everybody

my router was working well before upgrading without any error !!

I've entered TP-Link website and found a newer version

note : I've bought the router comes with this version v3 build 120524.

then I've upgraded it to the latest version v3 build 140305 and Committed all steps .

but after that the wireless network disconnects many times and becomes limited access for some minutes

then back to work or I'm forced to turn it off then on to work again !!

I know the even there is no internet connection , I could access the router panel though the wireless but I can't when "limited access network" , but though the cable I can !

Do you have 192.168.1.1 router IP address?

yes , but not during the time when the router fails so I have to turn it off then turn on to work again !!

Webinterface stops working

I have the same problem with my device, it works for some hours without any problem, but then the webinterface is more accessible.
The same for the telnet interface... but ping and network is still working.

Model No: TD-W8961ND
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.0 Build 120427 Rel.09135

Features working / no more working:
DynDNS --> No
LAN --> Yes
Virtual Server (Port forwarding) --> No
ADSL --> Yes
Telnet --> No
Webinterface --> No
DHCP --> Yes
UPNP --> Yes

I have already tried to contact the support but they recommend me to go to the seller.
What i have tried to fix this:
- Softreset
- Hardreset
- Reflash firmware
- Setting up all manually (without using old config)

All with no luck...
Has anybody a solution?

After restart, can you access the web page?
On its web interface, go to Access Management---UPnP, choose Deactivated and Save.
Now test if it still happens.
