Model: Archer VX1800v
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.13.0 2.0.0 v6092.0 Build 240925 Rel.11089n

I am in the UK. EE is now my provider for the internet and my digital phone.

The "EE Smart Hub Plus" they provided does not supply IPV6 connectivity (my old BT hub did). I know, it's 2025.

So I bought this VX1800v. The internet is working fine (not tested IPV6 yet, but it should be OK, I think)

The problem is my digital phone, which is plugged into the phone socket of the tp-link.

I have dial tone, but it doesn't work.

I need help setting up the "Telephone numbers" Page.

EE have not been able to help me except to tell me that the "Registrar address" is probably EEi

I have entered my phone number.

The status is reported as X which I read as 'failed'.

I think I now need entries for

Registrar port

SIP Proxy

SIP Proxy Port

Outbound Proxy

Outbound Proxy Port

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

  @Marvin_S

Thank you Marvin_S

I have seen that page.

My telephony provider (EE) are unable to give me the information I need to fill in the requested fields, as listed in my OP.

So, I am stuck. EE are polite, but clueless.

Hi, thanks for you update.

You may try the default value listed in the guide.

Registrar Port: Typically 5060, unless the VoIP provider specifies a different port.

SIP Proxy: Usually the domain name of the SIP Proxy Server, if not, an IP address.

SIP Proxy Port: Typically 5060, unless the VoIP provider specifies a different port.

Outbound Proxy: Usually the domain name of the Outbound Proxy Server, if not, an IP address.

Outbound Proxy Port: Typically 5060, unless the VoIP provider specifies a different port.

Register via Outbound Proxy: Typically not required to enable.

As some configuration parameters are decided by your telephony provider, if failing to set up, I am afraid you need to contact first confirm.

Best regards.
