I have recently bought TD-W8968 v2 and have taken BSNL connection. It is ADSL connection.
Firmware version I have is 0.6.01.8v0019.0 Build 131224 Rel. 53716n

Every time power goes off, the ADSL settings are reset (as told by my vendor technician). As a layman I understand it that every time technician do the setting both ADSL and Internet light are on / blinks. but if I switch off and on the router, only ADSL light is on and internet light is not.

Then I have to run whole cycle of setup after which internet light is also working.
Please help me in this

I also have a BSNL connection on one of W8968 V2. I was also having some problem connecting. But it was not exactly the one that you have mentioned above. In my case, I was never able to get the Internet through the router after the configuration. Then I deleted the "Bridge" connection in WAN and since then have had no problems connecting/Re-connecting to Internet through BSNL.

Can you pls let me know how I can also delete Bridge connection. Sorry I am not the technical guy, so don't really understand the terms.

Try giving VPI and VCI values as 0 and 35, if you are using BSNL

update the firmware http://www.tplink.com/resources/software/TD-W8968_V2_140514.zip
and delete bridge connection
