Hi Guys,

I have a quick question. For instance, i'm using Powerline WiFi adapter within my unit and I've one on level 2 and another on level 3 WiFi cloned.

If now I'm on a Skype call and I move from level 2 to 3, Will the Skype call drop as I switches between the two AP? or it should stay connected?

Many thanks.

It will drop.

The roaming between two APs is not seamless roaming.

Hello,

I see this is an old thread, having same issue. Would a MESH wifi setup work?

Regards,

Pete

Hi,

please refer to https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/593/

meanwhile, it has something to do with the clients. if it does not support seamless roaming, the connection may drop a sec when switch the networks.

Good day.
