Deco App and Internet disconnection

Hi,
Everytime I open the Deco app either straight away or within a minute my internet disconnects, both on android and ios. I have to unplug the main Deco for it to reconnect. Both App and Deco firware are up to date. Internet is fttp.
Any ideas?

Every time after opening the Deco app, the internet might get disconnected and Deco turns red either straight away or within a minute.
Our engineers are aware of this and are currently working toward a solution.

In the meantime, If you need an urgent workaround, please try to install the following Deco APP versions:

Sorry that we are confused about your problem discription. Can you share more details?
How about the LED status on all your Deco when the internet disconnects actually?
You may refer to the guide to troubleshoot and share detailed results if you need further suggestions:
The internet connection is unstable or suddenly stops working when connected to the Deco network?
And it seems that your firmware is not latest according to the official website.

Hi Marvin, firstly thanks for the response!
My problem just happened again.
I accessed the app to check the firmware and it doesn't update as it says it's up to date. Ver 1.4.1. This took 4 attempts as it said no internet connection each time. The LED is green.
Speedtest returned 1000/50 or thereabouts at this time and I am in Australia if that makes a difference.
After getting the your system is up to date message the internet disconnected. LED on the main deco was solid red as were the other xe75s.
If I don't open the deco app it doesn't disconnect at all.
I hope that makes more sense?
I will try some troubleshooting tomorrow.

I have the same issue with my deco X95 devices.
It seems to happen after the last or one of the last app updates of the deco-app.
( I have an Android device )
As long I stay out off the deco-app, the deco's are showing a green light.
If I open the Deco-app and accessing some of the menu's of the deco-app, internet connection stops and the lights of the deco's are ging solid red.
The first time I saw this problem, I rebooted all the deco's to get back internet connection ( green solid color ) but I found out only rebooting the deco router device which is connected by an ethernet cable is sufficient to get solid green light.
I have reacted to this post because I think this problem is affecting more people and more types of deco's.

@Barty i got the same issue right now. Whenever i try to do anything in the app the main Deco goes to red light and internet is gone. If i don't do anything in the app my internet works fine and no problems at all. Using the app with another phone doesn't work either.. Same thing keeps happening.

Having the same issue with a three pack of Deco x20 (model 4.6) running latest firmware 1.5.5. Didn't start happening until after the most recent Deco app update (3.9.9) from a week ago. Have tried resetting all three units and setting up as a new network, deleting/reinstalling the app - no change.
Main deco unit goes red after doing pretty much anything in the app (refreshing network status, changing a setting, checking for updates, changing parental controls, etc).
I submitted my app log through the links in the app.
I did notice in one instance it looked like the CPU on the deco was at 100%, so maybe the app is causing a process to hang or there's a memory leak of some kind.

Hi,
I have the same issue Deco X20s x4!!
I'm hoping you can help. I've recently had issues with our x20 mesh network dropping internet connection (solid red light).
I've noticed that any change to settings in the app results in the deco throwing a wobble. This could be anything such as running network optimisation or turning auto update on/off.
Once the deco goes red, this requires a reboot via the app and then it seems to be okay again.
Has anyone else noticed this issue and know a resolution?

Hi David,
I replied to your email this morning and sent my app log too. While opening the app I lost my internet... There is definitely a bug in the latest app update. I've seen other users on Reddit having the same problem.
For the time being, I don't open the app anymore. Hopefully this resolved asap.
Can you pin this thread to the top ? Might help users having problem and to submit there logs, etc.
