Hardware Version : V3

Firmware Version :

ISP : MTNL

Primary Router: TD-W8961ND .........relays the internet
Secondary Router: TL-WR740N

I have just newly purschased the two routers. I tried calling ur toll
free no. for help too but nobody came online to give assistance. Also
i tried doing it myself but didnt work out. May be i am missing some
setting.

Kindly provide assistance/ guide- how to wirelessly bridge the two
routers, if it is possible then?

wireless bridging 8961nd and 740n

YES its possible , you can do it with WDS . search for wds on google ,

just keep 1st router i.e 8961 nd on 192.168.1.1 and 740n on 192.168.1.2

keep SSID , WIRELESS MODE , CHANNEL , WIDTH same on both router

i have done that on same routers and it worked seamlessly

Thx for the help. For now i have got it working with wds on only on the secondary router. But i have kept different ssids.

You can to set SSID in Wireless Settings tab on WR740N

Gents,
my situation is swapped :)
I want to use my ' TL-WR740N / TL-WR741ND' as a root & ' TD-W8961ND' as WDS bridge....
first one has not option WDS key: http://www.tp-link.com/resources/images/faq/2011531195715425.jpg

Can you please help with solution.
