Model: Archer C6U
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.13.6

Hi everyone,I have been using this Archer C6 for last one year approx, it's been a very good wifi router for me until last month. But now I have been facing this issue for last one month that My Archer C6 router keeps losing connection once or twice in every one hour turing the signal light into a orange one for a few minutes and resolves spontaneously, while the braoadbad is intact and the Modem has the full connection with all green light.

It has become so pathetic that can't even complete any meeting without turing into mobile data or plunging the cable directly to Pc. Contacted ISP,they came to my home and checked,No issues from their side. I am on the latest version of the fitmware of the Archer C6.

Any effective Solution please? 🙏

Hi @Shuvo007,

There are some suggestions for your issue:
    1) Connect a PC directly into your modem to verify if your ISP Internet is stable.
    2) Make sure the Ethernet cable between your modem and the Router is connected properly, replaced old cables with new ones.
    3) Change the DNS Server of the Router, login to the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Network > Internet > Advanced Settings, change the two DNS Servers into 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8How to Change the DNS servers on the wireless router and DSL modem router (New UI)?
    4) Go to Advanced > System > Firmware Update to upgrade the firmware of the Router. How to Upgrade the Firmware on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers?
