Hi
I'm considering buying a TD-8840T ADSL router, as I've had some good experience with other TP-LINK products, but am a little concerned by a couple of negative reviews. In particular, one person wrote "Incoming traffic was routed towards my internal file servers without any port forwarding being set up - dangerous and totally unacceptable" and another wrote "No NAT routing using a PPPoA connection - needs sorting."
So can anyone on this forum throw any light on this or reassure me that this router will not expose my server to the Internet without my permission?
Thanks
Andy
