Hi,

I Bought this w8968 a month back.i am very happy because the device was excellent performance till a few days back..
When i connect and start browsing , it goes OK.. but after a few hours(sometimes 2 or 1), It stops responding and I couldn`t ping 192.168.1.1 either through WiFi/Ethernet..
i think the device is freeze because Status indicators for WIFI,Internet are steady not blinking.
When i switch off the router and then on, The Problem will solved and reappear again in 1/2/3 hrs..

another situation is, the device is also freeze when i connect the pendrive to the port., and also take more time to warming up the device.Some time i can't switch on/off wifi (wifi always off state) When i bought this, that time there is no any kinds of problem., all process are fast and good working.

I have no any Wired Clients..all are wireless., min 3 to 6 device such as laptop,mobile,tablet and lcd tv.

I already tried to resenting but not success.:( :(

I`m Worried.. Please help me..

I am having a similar issue as you.. My PC's wireless adapter keeps loosing the connectivity with the Router's ethernet port (192.168.1.1) randomly.

Did you get any solution on this? Did you contact the support team here?

Any update will be appreciated!

Model number? Hardware version? Firmware version? Does it just happen with PC? Any other clients to test?
If they are all different from #1, you'better post a new thread which is more attractive, isn't it?

Firmware Version : 1.0.5 Build 140821 Rel.52209

ISP : Tata Docomo

While searching on the forum, I read that assigning a static IP, specifying a channel instead of AUTO and setting bandwidth to 20 MHz helps in having a stable connectivity.
I have set the channel to 1 and set bandwidth to 20MHz and set a static IP to my PC. I will observe the behavior and see if this makes any difference.

I was wondering what WMM(Wi-Fi Multimedia) option means under the Wireless -- Advanced settings..
