Recently upgraded 2 laptops to HP Pavilion running Windows 8.1 - now having trouble with internet dropping out regularly.
Looking into upgrading TP Link Firmware but the file does not say if compatible with Windows 8.1.
Please advise if this firmware upgrade is compatible or if it may mess up our Modem/Router - http://www.tp-link.com.au/support/download/?model=TD-8840&version=V4
