Region : Romania

Model : TL-WDR3600

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : TL-WDR3600_v1_140916

I now feel the pain this guy felt - http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?77524-Archer-C7-v2-web-management-problem-after-firmware-update&p=149756&viewfull=1#post149756

The same issue affects the 3600 and maybe others... How can you release a fw without testing this basic web management thing? TL-WDR3600_V1_130909 worked just fine.

Updated, reset defaults, reconfigured. 255.255.255.255, allow web access, 8080 etc etc, all seemed to work when local.

Tried to login from another location, correct ip:8080, we're at the login page - http://postimg.org/image/wzeglb14h/

Try a wrong pass to test - http://postimg.org/image/ditqys60h/

Correct password - http://postimg.org/image/9jry27rzl/

Now i have to waste my life driving to the location, revert to the old firmware and reconfigure, all because of your incompetence.

To those who may concern,

To protect the privacy and security of the your home network, only one device can login to the web UI at once.

If one has logged into the web UI, you will get this reminder when you tried to access the web UI. In this way, you can log out from that device first and relogin.

Note: The mechanism varies slightly due to the different products and hardware version.

And please ensure that the firmware is up to date.

Below is an instruction on how to access the web UI of your TP-Link device.

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2236/

Best regards.

Please check your internet browser and switch off adblock or similar software.

Has nothing to do with it. Tried internet explorer, opera, chrome, stock android internet browser. Now i'm back to TL-WDR3600_V1_130909 and it's all good.

This problem only exists on latest firmware, I have contacted the TP-LINK support team. They tell me they are working on this bug.

I was having this issue and I plugged directly into the router, logged out, then tried to connect to the admin page wirelessly and had no further issue.

Plugged into the router directly via ethernet cable and I was able to sign in. I logged out, went to the admin page over the wireless and had no further issues.

Haven't tested fully but I had this problem after turning on the remote admin option (I run my device as an AP only which requires some routing setup and then every connection outside of the specific VLAN becomes remote to the device). I had to log back into the device over the original LAN connection, explicitly log out of the admin page then I could log in from other networks.
