Region : Greece

Model : TD-W8970

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : 1.2

ISP : Forthnet

I have the setup OK. All is correct, VPI/VCI username pass, IP DHCP. The modem connects to the internet and gets IP etc. I have access to the router from any PC on the home net wirellesly or by cable. But no PC has access to the internet wirellesly or by cable. I plug in the old router and it works. I cannot understand it. Any help?

Do you have "ADSL sync"? Login and password is correct? Give us screenshot from STATUS tab.

Yes I have ADSL Sync. The modem even gets an IP from the ISP. Login and password is corect, allthough in the log I can see that it is rejected a few times before it connects Screenshot a litle later because my hole family is online and I have to cut them off.

I attach a file of the old router (Thomson) that shows the VPI.VCI

Can you ping google.com or ping 8.8.8.8 successfully?
Some pictures are too small to view clearly.
Did you try to assign DNS 8.8.8.8(primary) and 8.8.4.4(secondary)?

Finally I found the error. I had misspelled the password. How foolish of me. It seems that the ISP was gaving me an IP after 10 failed efforts but could not surf because the password was wrong. I restored factory defaults, run the wizard with the correct pass and now all is ok. Thank you all for your help
