Hi everyone,

I recently bought a TP-Link Archer AX73, and while the speed is great, I’ve been experiencing random Wi-Fi drops throughout the day. The connection cuts out for a few seconds and then reconnects. It happens on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

I’ve already tried:

  • Restarting the router

  • Updating to the latest firmware

  • Changing Wi-Fi channels to avoid interference

  • Resetting the router to factory settings

Has anyone else faced this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Hi@ErikShaw,

For your issue, please try the following suggestions:

    1) Make sure the Router is properly placed, it should be put in an open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf.
    2) Update the firmware to latest version.
    3) For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust 2.4GHz channel width into 20MHz, for 5G wireless client devices, adjust 5GHz channel width into 80MHz or 40MHz to avoid interference.
