Hi everyone,
I have a similar problem with my Archer C2 router.
My internet connections is PPOE and I filled user&pass with the data from my provider. The router works fine for a few days (~1 week) and after this I receive an "Limited" on my wireless status on my PCs (Windows 7, 8.1).

I tried to upgrade the firmware with the next versions Archer C2_V1_141117 and Archer C2_V1_141119 but the problem persists. After many (random) resets and firmware upgrades it works for a few minutes and then is down again.
I also called my Internet provider and they told me that I appear to be "not connected" in their system, so I'm assuming that means the router is having some software issues. If I try the direct connection with my PC everything is working perfect.

Any idea?

Thanks

Just click on the "link" word from my previous response.
Or click here http://www.tp-link.com/resources/software/Archer_C2_V1_141119.zip

Your ISP didn't do their job to help you troubleshooting this issue.

1. Log into C2, go to Network --> WAN menu, ensure the username/password is correct. Then select Always on for Connection Mode. Save.
2. Go to Network --> MAC clone menu, click clone MAC address to clone your PC's MAC. Save.
3. Reboot

Also check the cable between the modem and the C2.

I did exactly the same settings as you said but the problem persisted until yesterday evening when I changed the cable + RESET from the button and is finally working :).
I'm not sure it was the cable because I used the same cable for my direct connection to ISP and it works without problems.

Thanks for your time and I'll come back with an update soon.

What is your Android device ?
There is a problem with Lollipop software on several Phones and tablets where wifi drops out regularly.
My Samsung Galaxy S4 was terrible on lollipop, It would drop wifi so often sometimes I had to downgrade the phone software to Kitkat. I have no problems at all now with both my routers.

There is an issue that wifi connection drops after some time (few hours or sometimes minutes) on android device until the android device is restarted.

Wifi icon shows connected but the connection is dead in this cases.

Of course tryied to update and also factory reset of android.

This is for sure not affected by android device, because other wifi routers works fine for me...
