2.4GHz IoT network is extremely unstable due to forced 40MGhz channel width causing frequent drops
Over the past several weeks, since I purchase Deco XE75 (3-pack) V1 I am having a really bad time with trying to keep all my devices connected. I have around 105 devices, including smart lights, switches, hubs, cameras, thermostats, etc. Every several hours my IoT decices start to gradually disconnect and I need to reboot the network every time in order for them to reconnect.
I am facing issues mainly with the 2.4 Ghz which is set utilizing the separate IoT network. The main SSID is set only on the 5Ghz band. I've read a lot of discussions in the Tp-Link forums and noticed that a lot of people are facing the same issues mainly because currently it's impossible to change the channel width for the 2.4Ghz band through the app.
I am not sure if you're planning to fix this with a firmware upgrade or you can grant be access to a beta firmware where this issue is fixed, but I need this resolved as soon as possible.
I've already spent hours trying to enable/disable various settings (incl. Fast Roaming, Mesh and Beafforming), setting reserved Ips, resseting all the nodes, switching between router and AP mode, etc.
I notices on other threads that you've helped people resolve this issue by providing a beta firmware, so I'd be glad if you can provide such for me as well.
If there's no swift resolution to my issue I'll be forced to look for another solution/brand and return my Decos...
Looking forward to your response.
