I was wondering if the Deco app be used without having to go through the remote server?

 

The reason I ask because we had ISP issues and wanted to change my DNS but couldn't access the Deco BE65 via the app because I had no internet.

 

Did I do something wrong or can't the app work without an internet connection?

 

I don't know how to change settings outside of the app, I tried via IP but doesn't let me change any setting via my phone.

Hi, can I have the current firmware version of Deco BE65?

 

We have to use the Deco APP to change network settings, but the Deco APP can be used even when Deco has no internet connection. The local management needs to make sure the smartphone is still connected to Deco WiFi, then you can alter the IPV4 DNS servers here:

BE65_V1 - 1.1.0 Rel 12931 I will give it a try (unplug the internet) to see if it was maybe something else that didn't allow me to change the settings when connected to it via WiFi.
