Deco E4r + captive portal

E4r decoder + captive portal.
I've read some URLs that claim to be possible, but the option doesn't appear in the options. Can someone please guide me?

Hi, the latest firmware for Deco E4_v1/v2 is 1.7.0.
It is suggested to update to 1.7.0 first:Deco E4_V1/V2_1.7.0 Added Connection Preference, IoT Network and WiFi Access Control

Hi, can I have the current firmware version of your Deco E4?

The guide you recommended is the one I followed, but the advanced option doesn't appear in the guest network configuration.

@David-TP Thanks so much. After updating with the recommended firmware, it's showing the options... I didn't search, so I just applied the one that was available via OTA. Once again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Topic closed.

Sorry to jumped in to this thread. I have the same hardware version Deco E4R with firmware 1.7.0 20250116 Rel. 59369 (I have 3 of these devices), I'm unable to see captive portal option in my Deco iOS app. any advice?

Interesting that firmware version was supposed to allow that option. Can you please confirm that the guest network is enabled? Also can you please provide the hardware version of your decos? it should be listed on the bottom of your deco.Also are you running your decos in AP mode? Or WiFi Router mode?
It's the weekend for David so it might take up to 48 hours for him to get back to you.

Hi, Deco E4_1.7.0 hasn't added Captive portal under Guest network.
We might still need to wait for a higher version upgrade(1.9.x).
