the website doesnt say eu version its not eu what version should i download and from what website please someone help

Please click here to see the firmware on the official website in your region.  If it is EU version, you can go to the global website to install the latest version:TL-WR840N(EU)_V6_240117

Then please update firmware manually. How to Upgrade the Firmware on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers

Check your router bottom sticker - details.There you should find teh FW region of your router.

If it's a (EU) the you could use the global english support page - here.
