Region : Singapore

Model : TL-WPA4220

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : WPA4220(EU)1.0_update_1.2.8_20140401.bin

ISP :

I have the 4226KIT with one device connected to the Router in one room and the other device connected to the wallsocket in another room of the same floor. It was working perfectly well for a month and then it suddenly went off all of a sudden. The powerline connection light was off even though the other device was still connected and had not been touched. I tried rebooting the powerline a few times and resetting to factory defaults and updating the firmware and it did not come back. But after a day it started showing the lights now, which means the wifi device is connected to the main device. Even the ethernet light is on when i connect it to the PC. But i cannot access the internet.

I crosschecked the original router and the internet works perfectly fine there. But im not able to access the internet through the powerline anymore. Absolutely nothing was changed in terms of connection or how it was set up. It just went off on its own one fine day. Now that the lights are also showing everything is connected what else can i try to make it work?

When connecting your PC to LAN port of WPA4220, can you check IP address, default gateway, DNS server obtained?
If nothing, try to reset them.

After that, pair again.

Thanks for trying to help, Tony. I appreciate it. Could you tell me how i can check the IP address, default gateway and DNS server?

I did try resetting the homeplug back to factory settings a couple of times already before i made the post. Also upgraded the firmware to the latest along with that. But both didnt seem to rectify the issue.

This is what it looks like on the ipconfig screen when i have the computer connected to the homeplug via the LAN cable. Also i noticed in the network sharing center it says unidentified network. Does this help find out what might be causing the issue?

The IP address is invalid and that's why you cannot access internet...
As I mentioned above, try to reset them and repair them.
If it is the same, connect your PC directly to the router and check IP address, default gateway etc.. And then, you can refer to those information and try static IP on your PC.
