Archer BE400 - BE6500 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router

Previously, we had a router that could automatically switch to 20 MHz bandwidth whenever we selected the 20/40 MHz option. We only experienced better performance when we set it to ONLY 40 MHz.
Now, with the BE400-6500 Wi-Fi 7 router, we notice there is no option for ONLY 160 MHz on the 5 GHz band. We are concerned that if we select the 20/40/80/160 MHz setting, the router may automatically revert to the lower 20 MHz or 40 MHz bandwidth.
Why doesn’t the BE400-BE6500, a premium Wi-Fi 7 router, offer a dedicated 160 MHz bandwidth option?

If the channel width remains at 20Mhz, there may be channel interference, other WiFi networks, Bluetooth devices, or microwave ovens.
It is recommended that you use the WiFi analyzer app to identify congested channels and select relatively idle channels. Changing Channel and Channel Width on a TP-Link Router (new logo)
Some client devices may only support 20/40MHz bandwidth (common in IoT devices) and cannot maintain a 160MHz connection. This design is mainly to meet the networking stability requirements of these devices.
However, when you are transmitting 4K video or downloading large files, the system will automatically trigger the 160MHz mode.

Thank you for your response. However, the explanation provided for not offering dedicated 160MHz bandwidth is not very reassuring. Along with the 20/40/60/80/160 MHz option why cannot we also have a ONLY 160MHz option?
Additionally We can always set up a guest network that utilizes bandwidth options of 20/40/60/80/160 MHz in case we are concerned about compatibility with older devices.
However, having a dedicated 160MHz bandwidth would provide peace of mind, assuring us that we are maximizing our available bandwidth. When we experience slow speeds, it often leads us to question whether the issue lies with our ISP or the router.
I kindly request that you provide a dedicated 160MHz bandwidth channel, along with the options for 20/40/60/80/160 MHz. This would allow us to choose according to our preferences. Really want to know that I am utilizing the best bandwidth. That is why I made this investment.Thank you.

This cannot be accepted as the recommended solution.
Lack of control cannot be always accepted. It can be as an option for someone who needs it. But there are others who would like their networks to behave in a certain way without any change.
In certain situations I might prefer 80MHz over 160MHz for 5GHz which the device might not understand if all it cares is providing the best possible performance.
Having more control is mostly always a good thing. When coming from a device which had no restrictions (C6 in my case), even though BE400 is a huge upgrade in terms of hardware, there is a "lot" to be desired when it comes to software.
