Model: VX420-G2h
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.9.0 2.0.0 v603c

I am looking to use my 'modem router' in modem-only mode to avoid double NAT, as I want to be able to use my own seperate router. This article (https://www.tp-link.com/au/support/faq/4414/) explains well how to switch the device to modem only mode, however when I attempt the steps I am not quite sure what to do next

The "Connect" button is greyed out, and I am not sure if that is because my device is using 4G LTE? I have tried restarting and still not able to click the connect button.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

If you have followed the instructions in the guide you mentioned then that's normal.

Connect is not active since you've already set your DSL modem in bridge mode (modem-only mode).

Now, if you connect VX420-G2h to your own router and configure the PPPoE sesion parameters on your own router, then you can use Connect from your own router.

Here's a similar example with a couple of different TP-Link devices.
