Hi there,

Getting error while add STATIC ROUTE " Configure route for address = 8.8.8.8 and subnet mask = 255.255.255.0 failed.
Please ensure there is a valid WAN Service at least.", my WAN is ADSL - PPOE.

Please advise how to perform above.

Destination IP address : 8.8.8.8/24
Gateway : 192.168.1.1

I am using Chromecast and its default GOOGLE DNS restricting NETFLIX access, so i just want to do a Static Route to bypass google dns.
Some how the new firmware not showing the DEFAULT GATEWAY option rather its picking by WAN interface.
All I need is to my WLAN (Wireless lan)should route all 8.8.8.8 to 192.168.1.1, some how its not working with simple configuration.

HI dude,
Im interested in this case.
I own a 8950 V2 , I tested it as you mentioned in the previous messages, everthing worked fine without any problem.
I can set the static route .
So can you post your configuration and the error message of your STATIC ROUTE settings?
Then I can see if I could try to figure out what may cause this.

Hi Jim,

Seems its the issue with V5, even from factory daffily settings, i am not able to do a static routing.
