Hello

I'm trying to configure my TD-8817 as a modem only with my ASUS RT-N66U Router but I'm not having much luck. I'm no expert on networking/IP addresses and the detail I have found so far varies so much that I have wasted a huge amount of time and am not getting any results. Can anyone give me detailed and tested instructions on how to do this please?

BT infinity fiber or Standard BT?
In UK, most ISPs use PPPOA as the connection type. In this case, we need to configure it on modem router because the router doesn't support PPPOA.
Thus, if you configure WD-8817 as a modem only but you cannot configure PPPoA on the router, it won't work.
