Archer D9 - DHCP not working

Region : Australia
Model : TD-W8968
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 0.9.1 0.1 v0041.0 Build 150514 Rel.54055n
ISP : Telstra Bigpond
Bought the Archer D9 V1 last week but have been having trouble with its DHCP function.
After some testing I found that the DHCP works normally for a while each time I reset the router, but the problem comes back after maybe a few hours.
From the system log I can see plenty of these error messages:
Wrong Server id or request an invalid ip
[*]No ip addresses to give, OFFER abandoned.
[*]REQUEST ip 561eb665 already reserved by someone
Is my router faulty? Or did I set anything wrong?
Basically all settings are default and I only run the Quick Setup after each reset.
Please help.

I dont know if the other posters have the same issue as me, I suspect not.
Maybe every 15 mins or so I lose connection to the internet. Iam still connected to the D9 though. When I do a diagnosticcheck the error comes back as fixed & says " Wireless Network Connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration" Apprarantly it resets the adaptor or something & I have internet again until it happens again.
But my wife & children are on the net at the same time & they dont lose connection so it has to be my laptop.
Is this an IP address issue?
The laptop is set up to obtain IP address & DNS server automatically.
Regards

If your problem is not the same, you'd better start a new thread.
So only your laptop has the problem, right?
Normally, we use DHCP to obtain IP address.
You may try static IP on the laptop to see if it works.

Connection type is PPPoE or PPPoA?
If it is PPPoE, go to Network---WAN Settings to Edit and change it to PPPoA. Maybe it helps.
Give a try and post the result here.
I take the hint from posts here.

Update: DHCP not working
It can be solved by deleting the bridge item.
Go to Network-->WAN settings-->8/35 Bridge: Delete

I have also had the DHCP problem, connected to Bigpond via the Elsternwick Exchange. My troubles started around 1 September.WiFi and wired connections were affected.I upgraded to the firmware of 14/05/15 with little improvement.I have swapped out my Archer D9 for my old Billion modem and everything is working fine again.TP-Link, is there a fix in the works?Do you know what Telstra is changing in its ADSL network that is causing this problem?

Sorry for the delay, I have been away.
How do I change PPPoE to PPPoA?
From Network / WAN / Edit I can't change that.

See my last post...
Just delete the bridge item to see if it works.

I had to delete the PPPoE item and then run the setup wizard and force PPPoA for the new connection.
All appears to be working now.

Had all the above issues with D9, latest firmware "0.9.1 0.1 v0041.0 Build 150826 Rel.42046n" also with Telstra.
Changed connection type from PPPoE to PPPoA which also removes the bridge connection, problem solved.
Cheers Brian
